SPACC Civic Engagement Guide
Yesterday the St. Paul Area Chamber of Commerce issued a press release announcing their Civic Engagement Guide. Quoting the release,
I may share some thoughts of my own about candidate responses in a future entry, but take a look yourself and see what you think.
The guide includes profile information, links to websites and social media, and the candidates' thoughts on a number of issues important to the business community. The information comes directly from each candidate and will help voters know more about the people who want to represent them. Candidates for city council were asked to complete a profile, questionnaire, as well as provide links and other information. Candidate answers posted on the website were not edited in any way by Chamber staff.Maplewood candidates who have submitted information for the Guide are myself, Bob Cardinal, and (though she didn't make it through the primary) Elizabeth Sletten.
