Vote in Honor of a Veteran
The Minnesota Secretary of State has a program this year called "Vote in Honor of a Veteran." More than 60,000 Minnesotans have participated, dedicating our exercise of freedom at the ballot box to the brave men and women who have defended that freedom.
I will of course be voting next Tuesday, and I will proudly do so in honor of my sister-in-law, Wendy, who is today serving in Iraq as a combat photographer.

Wendy says her Halloween costume was "a Navy sailor trapped on an Army base in the middle of the desert." She says it was a big hit. ;)
